Grandma Ada's Recipe for Custard Sauce
Ingredients
1-teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
2 eggs

Heat the milk. Beat the eggs and sugar until they are thick and pale yellow. Slowly add the hot milk stirring constantly. Cook over very low heat until
the custard reaches 175 - 180 degrees Fahrenheit or is slightly thickened. The custard should leave a thick coating on the back of a spoon. Do not boil.
