Gillian has publicly acknowledged the role that Coffeecakes.com has played in helping those affected by NF. In fact, she has endorsed the company’s products and philosophy on her website and other forums. We had a great time at the 2008 Colorado's Women's Expo, we gave out over 4,500 samples of our yummy cakes and cookies, gave away four $50 CoffeeCakes.com gift certificates and our Custom Reusable Jute bags were a HUGE hit! The Colorado Women's Expo brought together thousands of women for one weekend to sample and experience products and services that are important in our lives, like the wonderful CoffeeCakes.com gourmet gifts we like to send to our loved ones!! This was the inaugural year, an estimated 6,500 women received timely advice from Suze Orman highly acclaimed personal finance expert, Bob Greene fitness expert and personal Trainer for Oprah, Stacy London host of TLC's What Not to Wear, Kahi Lee host of HGTV's Design on a Dime PLUS Celebrity Che Cook-Off and Demos.
 Coffeecakes.com is a company owned by women who care about women's issues. In March, we are sponsoring a local event called Empty Bowl which is hosted by the Women's Crisis & Family Outreach Center. An "empty bowl" symbolizes the empty place left after the absence of a victim of domestic violence. Approximately 2000 hand made bowls will be donated to the event by local potters. Our support of this event will help to fund crisis intervention and housing.
